Hey All. So I was able to score a 1980 for cheap. Got it home and I got sound, but a scrambled picture and a squeak when the head spins. I know the 1980 is a superior machine, but I was wondering if any of the internals of the 1970 would be interchangable? I'd assume the boards are different, but are the transports the same? How about the heads? I have several 1970s and am hoping that some of the parts can be swapped should they need it.
