  1. Whenever I try to use VDub or any other program with my ATI TV Wonder VE, it doesn't work, it says that it cannot locate the cap. device. The only program my ATI TV Wonder VE works with is ATI's crappy Multimedia Centre of course. I've already tried Btwincap drivers, but those didn't work either, because I had to install them manually, but I couldn't get a signal after I installed those, so I had to take them out. Any useful suggestions would help, thanks.

  2. ThaKidKB8,

I use VDub with ATI TV Wonder with Btwincap drivers and it works
fine. A few tips, that may be useful:

    1) To use installer is much better than to install them manually. I do not
know what is the problem with automatic install on your machine, but,
first of all, try to uninstall all BT8x8 drivers from your machine (second
option on first BtInstaller screen), reboot your machine, and try to
    run BtInstaller again.

    2) Disable TV tuner (BtInstaller option) if you gonna use your ATI TV
Wonder VE for capturing from external source only - less problem and
faster initialization when you enter into capturing mode.

    3) The reason that you do not have signal after install of btwincap
drivers may be the default of the driver install: it is never "composite",
but "TV Tuner" if TV tuner is enabled or "Digital...." (?) if TV tuner is
    disabled.

    4) Not all possible color spaces work good with VDub. For example,
I can not get YV12 signal, so start from something simple - RGB24 or
    YUY2.

    Good luck, Mark.

P.S. Be sure that you use last evailable driver version (5.2.9)
