How to record this TV channel ?

Hello,

I'm trying to record this French channel: https://www.tf1.fr/tf1/direct (You need an account so here are some temporary login details: mail: didojo7615@picvw.com - password: Help007@ )

I was able to do it a few months ago (with streamlink/ffmpeg, I opened VLC and recorded with it) but now the mpd I'm finding is delayed (like 4/5 hours before the real live).

If anyone can take a look and find a solution, that would be cool.

Use N_M3U8DL-Re
n_m3u8dl-re MPD --mp4-real-time-decryption --live-real-time-merge --live-record-limit 01:00:00 --mux-after-done mp4

I already tried with N_M3U8DL-Re but it doesn't work for me. No matter how long the recording is, it goes straight to 1min55 and stops moving.

But even if I could record, the main problem is that the mpd I find in the developer tool isn't the live channel, there's a 4/5 hours delay. For example, what I record right now at 1:30 a.m., with the mpd, is a program that was broadcast at 9:30 p.m. Like, you can try watching the live stream on their website and pasting the MPD link on VLC, you'll see that it's not at all the same thing ^^.

Yes there is a problem with the direct live of TF1....Recording is working with differents tools but there is a big delay.

There is many sites who stream French TV like TF1

for example this one

If the command doesn't work, take a fresh link m3u8 in Console Developper tool of your browser (F12)

For your problem of recording more than 2 minutes....check your version N_M3U8DL-Re and update if necessary...Works for me under Windows and Linux.

Thanks Cedric, it works perfectly.

I'll leave the thread open, see if anyone can figure out how the real live MPD is protected because it really intrigues me.
