  1. im using vegas video to edit and burn my vcds.im happy with this software, but its very slowly to render.Why?p3 866pc133, 512 ram,aiw 128 pro.how can i fix bad mpegs(its have a big bright at sometimes)

  2. What are you captuing your footage with or settings? At what resolution and bit rate... Converting Avi's takes along time, so it is not only with you. I have STUDIO DC10 plus and use AVI2VCD to convert the footage to a Mpeg1 then use nero to Burn the Video CD. Vegas Video 3.0 with the Mpeg add-on will convert the Avi file to Mpeg1, But IMHO running the Vegas video program to convert the Avi is slower than a dedicated program such as AVI2VCD.

    Vegas Video is a great program for editing movies and converting files to Mpeg, but nothing beats a stand alone program to do the job.

  4. Programs such as Studio 7 on the low end and Premiere & MediaStudio Pro on the higher end can do color correction - Studio only on AVIs but the other 2 can handle MPEG1 & MPEG2 directly. Both typically are on ebay for about half the MSRP.
