  1. I have movies that I am trying to edit out the credits. To make the movies fit on 1 CD. My problem is this. when I edit out the credits and go to save the avi. The video looks to be saving normally, but the audio isn't. It saves it way too large. Almost 100GB. How do I fix this? I am using Vitual Dub.

  2. try to set 'direct stream copy' in the audio menu. you can also frameserve the movie and use a trim command, this way you dont have to save the movie again. for example avisynth with the command trim().

    hope this helps

  3. go here for a detailed guide:

as pagan has said, setting it to direct stream copy will help. If you want or need to use full processing, you'll need to specify a compression format.
