  1. okay as most people know that spiderman ctp release is a pal svcd. what i need to do in order to play it on my panasonic dvd player which cannot play svcds. usually i use tmgenc mpeg tools/multiplex and convert it to video cd 1 and burn with nero which works great but this time because it is in pal i need to convert it to ntsc. the problem i am having in everytime i use tmgenc/load up the ntsc template and begin to re-encode the thing crashes in the middle. even when i play the original mpeg that extracted bin-mpeg it stutters in wmp and crashes that too. my question is how do i FIX the mpeg 2 that i get from the bin so i can re-encode the pal svcd to ntsc vcd successfully. thanks for any help you can give me...

are you sure you need to convert to NTSC? I have no problems playing PAL vcd/svcd on my pioneer/NTSC TV. it's worth a shot--I would try a small sample clip(on CDRW if possible so you don't waste a CD)

  3. i know FOR SURE my panasonic dvd player will not play svcds but pal i am not sure its basically a guess because i used the tmpgenc/nero vcd trick on cd 1 and it does play but the bottom and top of the movie are all pixelated and blocky i beleive its because it is pal but i just also realized that the cd 1 one that played may have been incomplete anyways because when multiplexing with tmpgenc to make a mpeg 1 video cd it gets a BUFFER UNDERFLOW ERROR i know this is normal but it happen at like 20 percent done so the mpeg it makes are incomplete mpegs and it happens with all 3 cds of ctp spiderman. all 3 cds have mpeg errors that crash wmp at different points. help please!
