  1. Heres the deal - I have a ATI TV Wonder VE card - and the software included with it wont let me access the COAX - but I found two programs so that will recognize the coax input - iuVCR and Vdub

iuvcr will let me scan for channels and such but the picture is all messed up and scrambled

Vdub I can see the picture just fine but there is no way to scan for channels and change them - if I try and use iuVCR at all Vdub gets scrambled and I have to reboot my system to get Vdub to view it properly -

    Im running 900mhz AMD thunderbird
    Nvidia TNT 2
    384 mbs ddr ram

the system can hadle it, but the software supplied with this card is crap and I cant find a good alternative it seems.
Ok - you got me - i dont know anything - you happy now!

  2. hrmmm, I have the same problem. Do you have Windows XP? Cause if so there is no hope. ATI suxors so they still haven't considered making XP drivers. Does it say something like this?

The TV player failed to initialize the video. Ensure the correct video drivers have been installed and close any applications whichmay be playing video such as DVD or WebTV before attempting to restart TV.

    Ya...

Same prob here. I'll try to get that iulab software you mentioned. I found iuvcr capture software. Maybe that will wrk.

I suggest getting a new capture card or try to install Web tv for Windows. You need your windows cd to install it and I don't have one, but according to other forums I have refered to for this problem they seem to think that works.

    GL and Best regards,
