Hi
I would like yp know if there is such a thing as portable CD writer that can accept digital video in, via USB. In the operating room I would like to record an operartion on to a portable CD writer. I will get the output form an analogue to digital convertor (Instant DVD or something) whitch is connecter to the output of an operating camera. Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to use a laptop if possible, in the operating theater

Are you talking about recording direcly to A CDR in real time via USB, if so I dont think a usb CDRW would be quick enough for the video transfer rates.

Thanks Craig
Yes I was hopping to record direct to a CDR via USB, but as you say it is not possible now because of speed. Well a laptop is the only solution I guess.
