hi bought a scan converter today so what i do is download film then play it on cinematograph then run it to my tv video i can tape it as well is there any other windows players like cinema so i can just soften the pic up a bit i can alter sat and brightness and colour tried media player cinemas better also is there any settings on my puter itself that could improve the quality which is on par with the ones i encoded thanks any help much appreciated.

So, basicly what you are doing is, taking a Digital File, outputing it to an Analog Source, adding the filters and capturing again to Digital Format.
Isn't that rather pointless ? you are losing alot of quality on the way, why don't you just encode it with the filters you want ?Email me for faster replies!

hi m8 my aim from the begining was to put these clips on to vhs which i was via a dvd player as other family members wanted to watch them but didnt have a dvd player or trhey would not play on theres, so all i do now is download the clip then playback and record and the quality is the same as encoding it or the same as i was encoding it i was getting there but it was starting to eat me up, thanks for replying.chelly.
