  1. I'm running the latest version of Nero (as of 5/8/02). When I create a VCD from any files from several sources (avi converted by Nero, mpeg from other people, mpeg from TMPGEnc) Nero crops all four borders of the files. This is especially annoying, since the subtitles on my anime files don't show completely. The source files are fine, viewed thru Media Player.

  2. If you are wathing your vcd at a TV, it's the tv overscan. A tv dosn't show the whole picture some of it comes "outside" (the picture is bigger than tv-screen).

  4. Yes encode the vcd in 352*240/288 but add some black borders around the picture, how big they can be varies from tv to tv. (So the "picture" is alittle smaler than 352*240/288)
