I am converting large MPEG1 captures to Divx 5.0/4.0 [4.0 does better but the same problem]
The larger files lose audio sync increasingly as it approches the end of the file. [yes the mpg1 files are in sync]
I do have a smoother filter running...
Smaller AVIs work fine and turn out beautifully.. but the larger I get, the more I can notice the sync start to slip...
What can I do?

Demux the mpeg with TMPGEnc. Convert the mp2 to an uncompressed wav, and use that as your audio input when converting to DivX.
