It is a VPN issue. They know that you're not from Italy. But you can still trick them by adding a header x-chili-user-country=IT
And they use Widevine.

this behavior i have on some browser without ad-block extension and/or with ad-block extension (disable). all browser. i think is a bug of site chili.com...
also one my friend, who lives in Italy, have same problem...
then explain better how to put adding header (you able to play this video from browser?)

You can use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/modheader/idgpnmonknjnojddfkpgkljpfnnfcklj or similar extensions where you can enter a header. I disabled Adblock and then I was able to play it.

Install the extension and click on that plus ➕. Then enter x-chili-user-country with the value IT

very strange. repeat, i have disable my adblock or have used fresh browser without adblock installed but no change, unable to play video.
and also my friend, on italy, can play this video.
now i try with your suggested extension.

edit: try it but no change. installed extension, add header on request, disable my adblock but impossible to play video.

You still need Italian vpn though. It won't work with a random vpn. In my case, I disabled Adblocker, changed vpn to Italy but it didn't work. I saw that the country of origin is still DE. After modifying this header value I was finally able to start the stream.

my friend is in italy. no vpn needed. also no http extension. adblock disable and/or new fresh browser. but video don't play!

There are some extensions that cause that problem, like Windscribe (VPN+Adblock). Although is a bit strange that you also have that problem in a fresh browser.

tanxs lfer94 but problem is not which ad-blocker. chili.com (for me) not work always.
with chorme, firefox, and other browser (i use 10 browser on my pc, each different).
and with ad-block disable or fresh installation (without any ad-block or other extension installed) same problem.
i can't play any video from this site (free play with ads). tomorrow i write to chili.com for some explanations.

and yes, now all work correctly. with new VPN (set to Italy) work. with another VPN not work and also for my friend (live in Italy) play not work.
