Hello,
I can't capture via VirtualDub, keep getting "unable to start video capture", even when clicking Test video capture option. But I can see video in the Preview window. I haven't attempted to cap with VirtualDub in about six months but was working ok then. I can capture with the supplied cap card software, but the video is very choppy and only has the option for lossy. Also, when the tape isn't playing, I'm getting a weird bouncing/opening of the tree-tabs of the video inputs. Once I push Play that opening/closing goes away, when it locks on the signal I guess. It never used to do that.
-OS: Win 10/64
-capture card: Osprey 827e
-version(s) of VirtualDub: build 44065 & build 44065/release-AMD64). Both open up as VirtualDub2
-scratch drive(s): I've tried M.2 NVMe, SSD, same issue
-file: AVI uncompressed
-source: ntsc vhs
Not sure how much more info is needed to help diagnose. Any help help is much appreciated.
