  1. Has anyone else been having this problem? I can't play any recently downloaded video requiring Divx 5. All i get is a black screen & no sound although i have Divx 5.0 installed & re-installed 4.12 over it. Still nothing - Any suggestions?

  3. i had many problems with divx 5.0
i downloaded the bundle and when i went to watch a movie, the movie would freeze every few seconds. then i tried the unbundled version and it did the same thing......
so i reinstalled divx 4.0 or whatever and my movies worked perfectly again
i think 5.0 should be worked on some more.
and that whole thing about paying 30$ or force to join some unknown company is horrible..

  4. unfortunately, to play back some material you have to have the 5.0 codec installed.... no way around it...
