The first two parts join for me, then I get video only from the third with no audio. The raw mpeg2 file from the .bin file has audio in it...it just won't join. This damn file is PAL by the way...what a pain. I don't want to watch it on the computer, I want to watch it on DVD player...how do I convert the PAL SVCD to NTSC? Ack!

if it were me and i've been round everything i could think of then i would re-encode it with TMPGE...alot of movies that i download i do that with because i have 3 different players and all use different settings for vcd's...so some movies i play in one player and others play in another....my settings for the encode are higher and i know it doesn't help the quality, in fact, i only lose a tiny bit of quality when i do this....but at least i know it will play in my dvd player and i can then join whatever files i want...........

yep works fine for me!! used dvd2avi to demux the first 2 disks as these will be merged back 2gether with tmpeg once they are mpeg1 compliant & the third disk will become disk 2, there is bugger all difference between the quality either!!!
dvd2avi settings
track-1
channel format-mpeg audio
mpeg audio-demux
48>44k-off
Tmpeg
load up the vcd template of your choice & away U go once U have added your files U wanna encode, seems to cause hassles in batch mode so beware!! anway the finished product is mint!!

yep got the 3 svcd version onto dvd, this is how.........
use vcd gear to rip all 3 cds to hd, used mpeg2vcr software to join all 3 together no demux needed, i did choose to change sound from 44 to 48kh,in tools choose video clip list and add each cd from your hd, then click ok now when player pops up just press record and all video clips and sound will be joined together, then load dvdit up choose pal 4/3 cdvd any meg2, choose back drop and button then add joined mpeg, choose to create dvd and burn you will get warning that this may not play in your dvd player but in my naiko it plays perfect no loss of picture or sound........... -
there's a little thing called MIRC my friend.....go on a server called DaLnet and join a channal called dvd-vcds....and look for a person called ^^^ThE_MAdnEsS^^^....that's me.....I'll hook u up......
