What Video Effect is this???

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out what video effect was used in this video.

I just started using After Effects and I want to do similar.

There are dozens of effects in that clip. From cropping to flashing to moving text to color and transparency manipulation.

If you're just starting in After Effects, pick any single element and start there.

I figured it was something a little more advanced.

I know the video was made with Content Samurai, but the effects in the video are not available with that program, they just use wipe transitions and fades.

I want to try and recreate the effects, I could care less about the content.
