    Hello, so I just recently picked up a TBC 1000 for my ever growing setup since that was what was more or less recommended to me. (Yeah I know there are other TBCs out there that different people reccomend). Anyways afterwards I was told by someone that the TBC 1000 is a waste of money and that I should have picked up a DMR-ES15. I just wanna hear everyone's opinion on one vs the other.

    Each one has a specific task and addresses different issues, Down the line you may need both depends on the tapes you have.

    Yeah, apples to oranges. If you have to have only one, I'd have chosen the DMR-ES15
