I used tmpgenc to change a pal dvd to ntsc. I saw a thing on the advance tab that says it can change 30 fps to 24(inverse telecine). Maybe that'll do the trick.

24 is not quite 25, is it?

Well I might sound alittle dumb but I remember seeing somewhere that 25 which is described to say the frame rate of ntsc it actually goes at 24. something or other. So I figured in tmpgenc they were just being technical about it. I've never tried it so Khizhiy might be right.

Well, t0nito proposed a solution to which I can only add a note that the current version of Virtual Dub supports changing the frame rate (item 9 in the guide).

Also, I guess, 48 kHz is better then 44.1 for the convertion.

  6. Jesus:

You say that you converted a PAL dvdr to NTSC dvdr.

I am trying to do the same thing. I am trying to convert a PAL mpeg2 file to NTSCmpeg2. Can you offer any help?

    Thanks!
