Video from my DV camera is being captured interlaced. I once saw instructions on this site somewhere that showed me how to use the Smart Deinterlace filter in Virtual Dub to fix the problem and it worked wonderfully, converting interlaced images in to crystal clear frames. I'm trying to do the same thing using the Deinterlace option under Field Options in Adobe Premier 6.0, but the results are nothing like what I experienced in Virtual Dub. It seems to soften the lines caused by interlacing, but it doesn't get rid of that shadow that is created by fast movement.

Anyone with Premier 6.0 experience that can help me?
