Still haven’t got any help. I am trying to play back a non-standard res movies ( eg : 576x432 or 480x360 ) I have encoded these movies myself. When I try and play then using PowerDVD or Windows Media player it tends to drop them down or up ( relatively ) to the nearest standard res. When I try viewing the movies using FlashMPG it does register them as been the above specified resolutions. Why is this happening ? Have I done something wrong during encoding stage ? Is the same thing likely to happen on say a Toshiba DVD player. ( I ask because I have bought some movies non-standard res that work on both PC and my TV-DVD player at the right res ) ?
Would really appreciate some help.
Thank you.
