Anyone know any region/macro hacks for the Panasonic DMRE20?

Hi Guys,

Having looked in the usual places on here as well as around the net in general, I'm wondering if anyone has any info on the existence of a region-free hack for the Panasonic DMR-E20 DVD Recorder/Player? Either a codefree hack or something to disable Macrovision would be cool. Anyone know anything?

I have the same system, I did a search of the net and came up with a small black box the you put between the VCR and the E20, works for me, I just transered Air Force One and FireFox from original VHS to DVD-R in real time, both came out PERFECT. So I guess the bottom line is SEARCH, you can expect to pay about $50.00 for the "Box" It does not have a brand name.

Yeah, I've seen the assorted timebase correctors and video stablisers, thanks. I'm more interested in making this a region-free machine, though - I don't suppose you know anything on this?
