Every Divx film i try to convert to mpeg1 i get an error half way through saying (illegal floating point calculation order).
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to stop it!!!

It means you have some bad frames in the original file.
Install DivX Antifreeze; find a link under tools and change in TMPGEnc. under Environmental settings: VFAPI plug-ins: DirectShow Multimedia File Reader priority to 1 by right clicking it and select Higher Priority
NO CUTTING REQUIRED -
I assume that this Divx file is something you downloaded? Get used to it.
