Hello,
I use a JVC DVL307 Digital Videocamera, an Dynalink IEEE 1394 3-ports
Firewire card and Adobe Premiere 6 under Windows 2000 + SP2
Everything works well until i start capturing video. The DV Control controls
the camera perfectly. When Capturing video the videoscreen on the computer
has a very bad distorsion ... there are a lot of squares and the video is
hardly visible.
Can anyone help me with this problem ?
Thanks

There is one way, though it is not official. Download and install DirectX 8.0a SDK runtime from the M$ site (not just DirectX 8.0a, but SDK runtime!!!) It includes updated DV driver and fixes problems with JVC cameras.

Is that the complete SDK package of 141 Mb's ?
is there a stand alone runtime version ... now i've downloaden the complete package .. is that ok ?
otherwise do you have an URL ?
many thanks -
Yes, it is included to the package. You will find it in redist folder (if I remember correctly). There is a separate download somewhere on the M$ site but I do not know urls, they always make redirections to a different places of their site...
