Recommend used tv card for XP

Just starting to look for a used ATSC TV tuner card for my dual core XP desktop PCIE for OTA digital HD broadcast.
I want to run two coax from my powered antenna- one to the TV and one to the card.
I've noticed some cards have 2 coax connections. Is this antenna in and out or do I need a splitter?
Something efficient like h264 preferred and lastly mpeg2.
What do you recommend as a good used card?
Not looking to spend much, obviously.

Maybe a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250 (older version) or WinTV-HVR-1265 (newer version). Most ATSC TV cards only allow capturing a digital signal as-is, MPEG-2 video + AC3 audio. ATSC broadcasts don't use H.264.

I have a WinTV-HVR-2250 with two RF connections, one for digital, and one for analog. I use the analog port for FM radio, since it tunes FM radio as well as analog TV. The other TV cards with two RF connections that I know about also have two (or more) tuners. As far as I can recall, I haven't seen a TV tuner card with RF out.

[Edit]The only ATSC TV tuner device I know of which transcodes the video from MPEG-2 to H.264 is the Silicondust HDHomerun Extend. It isn't cheap and Windows XP is not supported.

Guess I'll need a splitter then. I've noticed different splitters with different results but I think the high frequencies are for satellites and not OTA.

Anyone else care to recommend a card for XP?

For digital TV, the card's ATSC tuner tunes an individual subchannel and the card outputs a MPEG-2 transport stream containing the same video and audio that it received. Recent ATSC tuner cards are more capable of tuning weak signals than the oldest ATSC models. Software controls recording, channel changing, file writing, and playback. For almost all TV tuner devices (the exception being the Silicondust HDHomerun Extend), transcoding would have to be performed using software after the recording finishes.

MCEBuddy is one possibility for auto commercial removal and transcoding, but I have no idea if it is worthwhile, or runs well on an older Windows XP PC. I do commercial removal manually and don't want to convert the original audio and video to other formats.

I haven't tried recording directly to one, but a USB 2.0 flash drive might work, assuming it is large enough and fast enough.
