  1. does anyone know of any shareware or whatever. That would enable the editing of say a full album download so that there would be more than one track. Don't know where else to ask sorry.

    using Nero or WinonCD load the big MP3 as you would normally for creating an audio CD, double click the track , in WinonCD the track is automatically loaded into the wav editor where you can split it into it correct tracks, in Nero you select the index and splits where again you can split the file into individual tracks, just burn after as an ordinary CD. you can always reload the audio tracks back of the cd if you want to change the order or make compilations. i use Cool Edit to mix singles as one non stop Cd and then cut the tracks after using above method, to make it play without jumping between track select all tracks and properties and then no gap between tracks . Voila
