    Using the demo, I see no way to make a real DVD slideshow.
    You can display slides one after another, for a set display time for each one, but they're treated as seperate titles. This means you cannot have several slides with the same music playing in the background.

    Have I missed something?

    Try Draging multiple pictures to one titleset.
