I have a newer Samsung BD/DVD player. I created a DL DVD with a PCM audio track but my player doesn't seem to like that (audio won't play) and I'm surprised since the player is only a few years old. Is this a somewhat common thing with players and PCM audio?

Is it a properly authored DVD or a DVD disc with video files on it?

Also did you check the Players audio settings? For some odd reason on a lesser deck I have here I was pretty sure I had to enable a pcm option in the players settings
