So as the title says, I've lost all sound to RECentral. The computer crashed at one point with RECentral muted, and since than I've had no sound even unmuted and at 100 in volume mixer (I use RECentral to have video and audio for games as my desk is too small to have 2 monitors and a tv. So one of the monitors is the screen and RECentral provides sound and visual, if that makes sense). However when I rename the exe to RECentral1.exe, it has sound again.

The issue with this is that with it being RECentral1.exe, when I try to play the PS3 I get a black screen with HDCP on it without sound. Also if the PS3 is turned on first or after any other console (I have a 5 in 1 out splitter for my consoles (granted only 4 of the 5 are used)) than the rest of the consoles also come up with HDCP.

Alternatively I've read that the issue can be "a mass of redundant registry entries under:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertySt ore" and it goes on to say "Search that folder for RECentral, there will be multiple if you are having that problem. Delete all of the records for RECentral under PropertyStore and I will return audio to RECentral."
I tried that on my own but as I'm not good at advanced stuff like that so if this is truly the way to fix the sound issue, please explain as simple as possible.

So to sum up, I need to restore the sound to RECentral without renaming the exe to RECentral1, so as to be able to play consoles on the fly without a black screen with HDCP.

Cheers in advance
