I have an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable capture card which I use to record Xbox 360 gameplay for the purpose of uploading to Youtube. The results so far have been of very low visual quality (an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRzQxcRxXq8). I have tinkered with the settings a bit, but had no improvements.
These are the settings used for recording with the Avermedia capture card
And these are the project settings and the rendering settings used on Sony Vegas
I have however noticed that the videos files recorded by the Avermedia capture card have a 640x480 resolution, despite having set the card to record at 1280x720.
Any help regarding this frustrating problem would be greatly appreciated.
