  1. Im having trouble turning my vhs into digital

    Every time I try take the footage of the video records really wobbly as shown above, the image is clear so it cant really be a problem with the camera.
    I've tried using a different type and brad of tape and it still came out with the same wobbly effect, i also changed programmes I've used like 4 different ones .
    please help i need this camera for a shoot very soon
    Camera is a JVC GR-AX280 and I'm using easy cap

    Where are you?
    Where is the camera from?(was it imported)?
    Have you tried PLAYING the tape to a television? How does it look?

    Does it look like this on the camera's view screen? If so, the transport is in need of repair.

    Im english mate, the camera is also from england, and no im at university at the moment so I dont have access to a tv.

    nope it looks perfectly fine in the viewfinder LCD, which is why i'm so confused.

    Could be a fake/broken EasyCap.......NTSC tape.

    I would concur with the above.

    Was this easycap a cheapy ?. The issue could also be a bad driver. What is your OS ? The older easycaps have driver issues beyond WinXP although if you are lucky some do work ok.

  9. yh it was a cheap capturecard, im going to try a friends out tomorrow to see if it is the easycap, will give an update, thanks for the help everyone

  11. So after going over to a friends and trying the cassettes on his set up, it is literally just a problem with the capture card. Thanks everyone for the help.
