    The last few days, I'm encountering this error with each video I'm attempting to convert. I don't know what to make of it. Do I need to uninstall / reinstall all of my MeGUI + AVISynth software?

    Update: realized that I have to use setmtmode or my scripts won't work.

    Enabling MT for an installed AviSynth MT is one part of the issue. Another common reason for CACHE MODE error messages was using plugins not yet compatible to a newer programming interface since AviSynth MT 2.60a4; it was mainly related to MaskTools or MVTools, I believe... You may consider switching to AviSynth+ some day, it has a different but more specific MT concept (e.g. explicit MT mode management per plugin filter) and a cleaner code base. Not impossible that MeGUI may make use of its special features in the future...
