I have to throw together a local video for the high school graduation.. Will Be capturing from VHS and having to go back on to VHS.. Just wanted to ask around see what u guys recommend is a good size to capture/make the video in .. many have said 320X240 but even that dont look VHS quality.. others have said 400X400 .. I whould like to get something close to SVCD quality ..
have another quik question .........
I have a ATI All In Wonder card.. ive tryed capturing in 480X480 mpeg2 and it look lil to rectanglar.. is it that my card cant handle to capture that big or .. playing that size in media player will look little funny till u put it on cd..

Read the FAQs man...oh what the hell...capture at 352x480 with Huffy...VHS is 352x240 w/two fields = 352x480...that should preserve quality.
