I have Goodfellas on a double sided single layer DVD (4gigs on either side). I got the DVD ages ago and would like to compress/encode/burn the DVD to 1 DVD-R so i don't have to get up and change the DVD over.
Can anyone suggest how i would be able to go about doing this? (assuming that i can compress it to below 4.5gigs)
(Bare in mind i'm new at this)
Thanks

well you'd have to go thru the ripping process(look in the how to section) and recompress it using a lower bitrate(with tmpgenc or cce and maybe convert the audio to ac3(dolby)(using a dvd authoring software such as DVDit PE)
