Hi VideoHelp Forum Team,
I would like to implement a custom RTMP transcoder to HLS format in Java and I found the modification of the video resolution a bit challenging in Java. My plan is to minimize the amount of 3rd party frameworks/tools integrated with my component.
What would be the best library (C/C++/Java) that could be used to decrease a resolution/bitrate of the RTMP stream to match adaptive streaming? I mean modification of the bitrate/resolution of H.264 videos/stream. Are there any alternatives to ffmpeg/libav? Would you recommend any commercial libraries?
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Jan Kowalski
