    Is CNET full of beans here ?

    If something new and good in this field should turn up, I don't want to overlook or dismiss it . . . .

    Filmora isn't new. (There are a few posts on VideoHelp mentioning it.) A Google search indicates Filmora is from Wondershare.

    Chinese company that has numerous rebrands of itself. Don't buy unless you have tons of coupons.

    Uh Oh -- I was afraid of that. Already have a few apps from some of those, probably all freebie / giveaways, and after the nuisance of removing WShelper or AShelper, stowaway "phone-home" modules {*}, I'm done with them ! I've even saved a warning file about them, and their various guises. (iSkysoft, Aimersoft, and AiseeSoft are others.) Now I would just like to know if any of the following are members of this family: Tipard, BoilSoft, Wonderfox. If so, I'll add them to the list.

    (I don't think NCH is part of this, but they do something similar {*}, and perhaps should be avoided for the same reasons ?}

    It's not like we don't have some decent, non-offending editors to choose from -- even some that are free . . . .

    Wondershare is a rebrand of iSkysoft, Aimersoft. Products are the same, just skinned differently.
