Transferring VHS and SVHS, I am getting the Canopus ADVC-100 and putting a Firewire PCI
1394 card in my computer. Stupid question but, How do I hook all this up through the VCR?
VCR- SVideo Out or In?
ADVC-100 Front panel or back?
PCI Port on Computer?
Thank you in advance...

VCR - SVideo Out (you will also need red/white audio cables)
ADVC - both front and back are DV In/Out so it depends on your DV cable. Typically it is 4 pin(front) from ADVC to 6 pin PC
PCI - see above -
You will need the 6-pin FireWire cable if you want to use computer power. Otherwise, you need an AC adapter.
