    I have a Canon Mini DV ZR950 about 10 years old. The last three tapes I recorded, when played back, are broken up digitally... or like pixels. Sound is scrambled also. Can this be fixed?

    could be dirty heads. it depends on if the heads were dirty while recording or became so afterwards. get a name brand miniDV head cleaning tape and try it.
