What's the last good version of PotPlayer?

Like all software, there comes a moment when updates make it suck (worst case today is Chrome). Newest PotPlayer is sucky, some streams now crash the program even tho before they didn't, update dialog now comes up every time and it forces download there's no option to stop, from time to time startup is very slow, like connecting to some websites and waiting for response or something even tho I disabled automatic updates etc...

anyway do you guys know the last good version of PotPlayer that didn't have these issues?

I'm running version version 1.6.59347 (32 bit) and it's been fine. It's not my regular player as I prefer MPC-HC but I've been using it now and then over the last few days and it's behaving itself.

MPC-BE is also a good alternative which I personally now prefer over MPC-HC. MPC-BE has very nice internal filters which I really like, but if you want LAV Filters, then you can add it as external Filters.

I'm using the latest level and it works fine. If the auto update keeps popping make sure you do not have both 32/64 bit players installed and you are only stopping one of them from updating. It's hard to tell its the 64 bit updating when you auto call the 32 bit player and it says do not update.
