There is certainly a lot of development on Daum's PotPlayer. Constant reversions of the Korean PotPlayer program, skins in various languages, English installers and repackaging, and portable repackaging....
The results are fantastic!
However, the 'portable' repackaging is where I see a problem.
There are several people doing this, and the quality of their results vary widely.
(as to keep this thread on task; I do not want to start listing the problems with various repackagers or download managers being forced on us)
...
The English version repacking done by someone here at VideoHelp.com has always been excellent!
I am hoping that this unknown person would consider doing a portable-app version as well!

You can make the install version portable also. Just extract the installation exe file with 7zip and then read https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/352734-Potplayer-not-using-LavSplitter-for-Dreambox...=1#post2214911
