Helps if you can use a reference/guide line to compare the image's horizon line to (and temporarily Zoom In your preview). But that requires GUI (or some form of visual feedback).
And then you will have to deal with the non-rectangular (black?) borders that are generated (unless you intend to greatly zoom in your composition).
