So Im encoding a video with XMedia Recode I crop & I resize to the resolution I want but the finished video encode is not the one I have it set at. I have the resolution set at 1280x720 with 16:9 while the finished output video is 1280x528 & the source video is 1280x720 so how do I keep the video at 1280x720 ?

Do not crop. Do not even resize if source and copy shall have the same dimension.
Not all videos have an active aspect ratio of 16:9. Accept it. -
So how do I get rid of the annoying black bars ? I guess I find another program ?

If you crop and resize back to 1280x720 you will distort the picture by stretching it. People will become tall & skinny. Wheels and car tires will become "oval"
