  1. So Im encoding a video with XMedia Recode I crop & I resize to the resolution I want but the finished video encode is not the one I have it set at. I have the resolution set at 1280x720 with 16:9 while the finished output video is 1280x528 & the source video is 1280x720 so how do I keep the video at 1280x720 ?

    Do not crop. Do not even resize if source and copy shall have the same dimension.

    Not all videos have an active aspect ratio of 16:9. Accept it.

    Only watch movies that are shot at 16:9.

  5. Or just stick with an older version of Handbrake if I have to which let me crop / pick resolution I want & size Im good with that

  6. If you crop and resize back to 1280x720 you will distort the picture by stretching it. People will become tall & skinny. Wheels and car tires will become "oval"
