  1. Im from Australia & Ive got Swordfish, Ive tried to rip it but it the VOB files are all like mixed so that on one VOB it will have the Movie & then will cut to some Special Features. Im sure many of you have had this problem too. Please I need a solution.

  5. I made a perfect backup using dvd2svcd 1.07b4. In release 1.08 there will be an option to just rip and no encoding.
I've had some problems with smartripper too, my suggestion:
use the internal routines from dvd2svcd.

  6. huntz02, if you have ICQ you can look in my profile and add me to your list...i can send u a really old version of smartripper that still works w/ most dvds (no aspi required either)

however, you can also get dvddecryptor (really good program)...just make sure you goto options and ENABLE MULTI-ANGLE PROCESSING (a lotta ppl forget to do that and blame it on the program for screwing up their rips)

  7. ....but after you have all the VOB files extracted to disk but did not use the multi angle processing option, is it then still possible to get the actual film portion out of it somehow?

The first VOB file now starts with a documentary with John and Jack and after 25 min the actual movie starts

So the movie is there but it starts not a the beginning of the VOB file
if I process these VOB files with DVD2SVCD it will start with the documentary!!!

    grrrrrr

cornsoft2002 make a dir and name it Video_TS. Put all your vobs and IFO files into this folder then in Smartripper load this folder as if it were a dvd. The button you need to hit is in the top right corner. You can now re-rip to new vobs just like if it were the original dvd.

  9. Adam thank you for your comment,

I tried it but smart ripper keeps telling 'No DVD Found'

I did put the Video_ts, having all the vob files and ifo file. in the root and selected the folder icon in the top right top corner of Smartripper (v 2.41)

    and idea?

    thanks in advance,

    Bart.
