Somehow I touched a wrong control or two and the display fades to DARK a minute or so after it's on. I don't see anything in the manual that addresses this. The "dimmer" button doesn't seem to help. The "night" button on the front of the receiver doesn't make any difference. Is there a master 'reset' function somewhere or what may be causing the display to go dim after a while?

    Thanks, anyone, for your help.

And I could not figure out here how to start a "new" thread or topic. Where'd I miss that?

Thank you, and again today when I turned the receiver/amp on, it lit up for a few moments, then the display faded out. It had been off & unplugged for a day or two before today. Any help anyone can give --- appreciated!

I'll try; but when I looked up their web site in the instruction manual or searched online, it seems to me that KLH brought up nothing usable....it is/was a Michigan company, I believe according to the address in the manual. Lovonia, MI., if I recall, but I'm not where the manual is at the present time. Will advise. Thanks for the idea.

KLH was sold to Singer Corps in '81 and then the manufacturing went overseas, and I don't think is in business anymore. Will keep checking.

Try unplugging the unit with the power button pressed, that's a generic reset.
