Hello. I have spent hours trying to figure this out and can't seem to find any help on the topic that works.
Can someone please explain to me how to trim clips, or cut out particular frames or segments, and then save it as a new file or (smaller) clip? I basically want to cut out some garbage and same them as a smaller clip.
Thanks.
Frank

With a question this basic, I'm going to offer a wild guess that you didn't buy this software. Trimming and deleting are pretty basic items. You first import the clip. Then you drag it to the timeline. Move you cursor on the time line to a start point, right click and cut. Move to a second point, right click and cut. Then highlight that section and right click and select ripple delete. This will remove the section you have marked, and remove the blank space. By changing the time resolution of your Timeline, you can easily cut out single frames.
The bookstore has a lot of great manuals for Premiere.
