    Hi All!

I am trying to convert a video I got from a studio with 4K resolution (3840*2176) with a few softwares and got fails and errors every single time.
I got the best results using Vidcoder but again- the video wasn't good enough.

Do you have any recommendations maybe?

If not, what softwares do you use?

    Thank you!

Help us to help you. Give us details, facts, log files. You are complaining about bad quality but omit all the constraints; maybe it's all your fault because you chose the wrong bitrate control mode or a way too low bitrate. In this case it doesn't matter which (frontend) software you use; most converters will use the same (backend) encoder (= x265), and you may use them all wrong if you believe in miracles, regarding the relation between bitrate and frame dimensions (did you ever calculate the "pixel bitrate" = bppf for your target?).
