    I have wmv file with Video and audio. I am using VMR 9 to render this file. Video and Audio is coming, but the problem is I can't do seek operation on this file. I am getting NS_INVALID_REQUEST. Any idea about this behaviour?

    Probably you have an incorrectly-muxed WMV file.
    Supposing that it can be fixed... try remuxing it with AsfBin, or with SolveigMM ASF Multiplexer.

    Thanks a lot for your help. I corrected the file with this tool. now I am able to seek.
    could you please tell me what you mean by incorrectly mux file?

    I am writing the audio in a wave format? is this an index issue?
