    Hi all,

When I go to render my video with Sony Vegas as a "Sony AVC - Internet HD 720p", and I try to change the bitrate of the AAC audio, it only let's me choose the highest bitrate (512 kbps) if i set the sample rate to 48 KHz, and the highest it will allow me to go to at 44 KHz is 320 kbps.

The original audio is a WAV with a sample rate of 44 KHz and I want to keep the highest possible quality audio when i render the video. So my question is..

Which setting would result in the best quality audio for a 44 KHz WAV source file. 48 KHz at 512 kbps or 44 KHz at 320 kbps?

I would have just chosen to go with 48 KHz at 512 kbps, until i read that increasing the sample rate can result in a loss of quality... is this true?

    Thanks
