I recently just picked up this deal and I want to watch the 4k media on my Sharp TV.
It looks likeall of these files have <filename>.um4 + <filename>.smi which I believe caries the encryption key.
I have tried the following to get this file to play. I don't have a 4k PC (running Debian Jessie amd64) but I still cant find a way to decript the um4 files and make them play on my Sharp:
* Downloaded DRMDECRYPT and renamed <filenames>.um4 to <filename>.srf and same with <filename>.smi to <filename>.mdb
* DRMDECRYPT gives no message but the remaining file of new file is 0KB.
* I have downloaded the latest FFMPEG and compiled from source following this LINK
* ffmpeg gives the following error when trying to re-encode
Code:ffmpeg -i Dive_to_New_World.um4 -c:v libx265 -preset medium -c:a aac file.mp4Help please, I can host a 500MB .um4 file if needed.Code:Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from 'Dive_to_New_World.um4': Metadata: major_brand : hvc1 minor_version : 0 compatible_brands: isomhvc1 creation_time : 2014-03-15 08:17:59 Duration: 00:01:52.98, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 36901 kb/s Stream #0:0(eng): Data: none (mp4s / 0x7334706D), 224 kb/s (default) Metadata: creation_time : 2014-03-15 08:17:59 Stream #0:1(eng): Data: none (mp4s / 0x7334706D), 240 kb/s (default) Metadata: creation_time : 2014-03-15 08:17:59 Stream #0:2(eng): Video: none (encv / 0x76636E65), none, 3840x2160, 36771 kb/s, 29.98 fps, 29.97 tbr, 90k tbn, 90k tbc (default) Metadata: creation_time : 2014-03-15 08:17:59 encoder : HEVC Coding Stream #0:3(und): Audio: aac (LC) (enca / 0x61636E65), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 127 kb/s (default) Metadata: creation_time : 2014-03-15 08:17:59 File 'file.mp4' already exists. encv = encrypted video
enca = encrypted audio
unless the audio&video streams are decrypted ffmpeg can't handle it
-> unless you find a way to decrypt the streams you probably can't use them on
Cu Selur
Ps.: As a side note: iirc the hwid of the hdd (or something along that line) is also needed during decryption
(<> content won't even play on Samsung Displays unless it's still on the hdd, so uploading the files somewhere will not help)users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555, marcorocchini -
Bummer, with the lack of 4k Content I thought this would've been cool to see... oh well. I guess I can only reformat the drive and repurpose it. Is there anything else bsides drmdecrypt and destroi that can possibly help me decrypt it?
Thanks

No, clue never tried to circumvent such drm.
