Maybe a cheap android tablet/pad or mobile together with a chromecast.

  3. Or portable media player like WDTV Live + HDMI cable (for connecting that player to TV) ,

then you decide to play a content
-from USB stick where you upload whatever beforehand
-or use miracast or any kind of mirror function you have on your cellphone, mobile. For example Samsung S4 can mirror display to that WDTV Live, I use that with no problem
-or use video player on that mobile device that has mirror function in it , again default Samsung video player can do it and send a stream to WDTV Live

Would you be happy receiving many multi-gigabyte ISO disc images in your email inbox?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

Here is the method I use:

    1. Extract ISO files to VIDEO_TS/VOB using WinX DVD Copy Pro.
    2. Copy to USB Hard Drive (Colorado MiniStation 1TB, WesternDigital Elements 2TB, etc.)
    3. Connect to the USB port on Samsung Blu-Ray player BDP-F5900.
    4. Blu-Ray Player > Home Screen > Photos, Videos, Music > Select your VOB file.
