I recently purchased a Letus 35mm Extreme Adapter for my Canon XH-A1. I now need to purchase a lens to connect to the adapter. Is there a specific lens I should be looking for? Can someone give me an idea of a somewhat inexpensive lens that I can connect to the Letus adapter? I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Preferably less than $250 if possible. I'm not an expert and am confused on the lens I should be looking for. Thanks.

Another quick newb question. If I have the 35mm adapter on my camera is it going to make editing more difficult in Final Cut Pro X? Like do I have to do crazy conversions? Maybe all this isn't even worth it. Thanks for your help!

Sigma and Tamron make decent canon-compatible lenses, but given the complete manual exposure control and canon optics, I don't see any particular advantage to using an adapter with that camera.
The lens has nothing whatever to do with FCPX. You're still shooting HDV.
